The guy claimed he had a bomb in his briefcase and demanded a whopping $200,000 in twenty-dollar bills and four parachutes. After letting the passengers off in Seattle, the plane headed towards Mexico City with Cooper still on board. But here’s where things get wild: Cooper pulled off a crazy stunt and jumped out of the plane with a parachute and the ransom money! Even though nobody got hurt, the FBI took this seriously and went all-out trying to solve the case. They followed countless leads and talked to tons of people but still couldn’t crack it. The media accidentally started calling the hijacker D.B. Cooper, when his name was actually Dan Cooper. Instead of correcting the
